It's new year eve! In about an hour it will be the first day of the new year of the Agricultural/Farmer's Calendar(農曆) but honestly I might not be awake for it haha!
As usual, I went to my mom's. We sat around and ate snacks from noon until around 5pm when we started cooking~ Luckily my mom had done the prep work in the morning already. It still took over two hours!
Though there's only two of us, we ended up with this spread:
We barely made a dent in this feast!!!! I packaged some to take home, but we're both going to be eating this for DAYS!
Then I kowtow to my mom and we exchanged red envelopes. Look at the cute red envelope I got for my mom!!

Yes it's supposed to be a big family gathering but since we aren't in touch with either side of the family much, it's just the two of us now!
And thank you! It was my first time wearing this cardigan!
There were so many cute red envelope at the vendor I got that one from. Very creative designs!
