Singapore Trip Day 5: Jewel at Changi Airport

My final day in Singapore was a half day as I had an afternoon flight.  Fortunately, Singapore has an entire massive mall connected to their airport, so I had something to do while waiting for my flight!

Wiggle showed up to see me and my friends off.  Kiratasama and his family had a 10AM flight and like arriving early, so we arrived just after 6AM and they checked in and then we had some breakfast at the airport.  Wiggle taught Kirata's brother how to eat kaya toast properly by dipping in egg! I wish I'd known to do that when I got my kaya toast the day before!

After they entered immigration, Wiggle and I had time to wander about.

At first I wanted to go see the Changi Jurassic Mile, which is dinosaurs, but it's a long walk AWAY from the airport so we just took photos at the entrance.

Singapore Trip Day 4: Marina Bay Sands

 Our original plan for the fourth day of Singapore trip was to go to the Cloud Dome and Flower Dome in the Gardens by the Bay.  It's domes of plants and flowers, and Cloud Dome had an Avatar (the blue aliens) movie theme going on at the time!  Unfortunately, they were booked full, so instead we went to the Marina Bay Sands skypark observatory and looked out over all of Singapore instead.

Singapore Trip Day 3: SEA Aquarium

 On our third day of Singapore trip, we went to the S.E.A. Aquarium!  We met up with my online friend Tribby outside the aquarium and then all headed inside together~

 On the second day of the Singapore trip, we had a meetup at HaiDiLao, a high-end hotpot place!  We have this in Taiwan as well, but it was still a good place to meet up.

Singapore Trip Day 1

 I took a short trip to Singapore recently!  It was so much fun to finally meet online friends in real life~

The trip was planned with kiratasama and his brother and cousin, who were in the Philippines.  We all arrived on March 4!  What we didn't know was that we would land at different terminals.  Fortunately, my friend SirSolicitous had taken it upon himself to come be the welcoming party, found me, and arranged for us to all meet at Terminal 3 so we could head to our hotel!

After we checked in, we went to a German restaurant around 7:390PM to meet up with our friends chermibear, her partner scical, himetokki, wigglemuggle, and later shinosaito joined us directly off his own flight from Taiwan back to Singapore!  I even received a bouquet of flowers from Wiggle!  It was so sweet.

Meeting Singaporean Friend!

 On Saturday I met up with Shinosaito, who I met through streaming on Twitch!  He came to Taiwan with his family and we met up~ 

Strawberry Afternoon Tea

 Last week I went to the same hotel as recent lolita meetups with my cousin, his wife, and my mother for their themed afternoon tea again!  This time, the theme is Strawberry!  I was curious how they would make savory strawberry dishes.

Teddy Bear HotPot with Family

Last week my cousin and his wife arrived in Taiwan!!  We went out for some hotpot~  It's a super cute one and also a good brand overall of hotpot called 聚 (ju) which means a get-together.  Perfect for our getting together!
