Curating My Wardrobe: Bags

Recently I have been thinking of curating my wardrobe to make it easier to make coordinates and downsize my closet.  While I'm not sure whether I'll document the whole process, I thought I'd share the bag portion at least! 

First I categorized my bags, and then went through each group to see which ones I should keep or donate or bin.

Big Bags

First up is my big bags.  I use all three very regularly, so I will be keeping all three!  One for sweet outfits, one for spooky, and one for both/casual!  The Hello Kitty one is starting to peel and fall apart, so it'll lose its life soon enough I'm sure 😿but I'll keep using it as long as I can!

Day in Tamsui

 It has been so many years since I took the long MRT ride up to Tamsui!  Because I had a friend visiting, we decided to go together and I took a half day off from work.  The weather was threatening rain, but fortunately just remained a bit overcast, so it wasn't too hot and a jacket was just right!

March Lolita Tea Party

For our meetup this month, we went to JR as usual.  The afternoon tea set theme this time was a collaboration with French chef Nicolas Boussin!  There was no dress code, so I wore Wa-Lolita this time.  I also tried a new way of doing my hair.

Recent Outings with Friend from Canada!

 You thought my busy days were over? I'm still catching up!!

On Wednesday, my friend from Canada arrived, and I spent the day helping him get his bank and APRC (Alien Permanent Residence Card) updated.  It was a lot of running around from 9:30AM to around 5:30PM but we got it all done and then got food!

First, he came over to shower and keep his suitcase here until he could check into his BnB.  We went to the bank and unfortunately, he forgot his stamp, so we grabbed some lunch before heading back to my place to grab the stamp.

We passed a place called Pizza Rock and it was good!

They had a lot of toppings to choose from, including a vinaigrette SPRAY which was neat!  The hot sauce I grabbed was also very delicious and added just the right amount of kick to the pizza~

Recent Outings with a Friend from Singapore! Pt. 1

Wow I have been busy the past several days while a friend I met on Twitch 3+ years ago came to Taiwan!  We'd previously met IRL in Singapore last year.  I haven't had the time to organize my photos and blog until now~

First day I was out with my mom for a lunch buffet, so we didn't meet up until nighttime.

Turkish Coffee and Fortune Telling

Does anybody remember the egl community on livejournal?  That's how I was first introduced to Lolita fashion, and one of the friends I met on there back in the 2000s, aonele, along with her friend Stephanie, came to visit Taiwan!  We met up at a Turkish restaurant which was super cute!!

Lolita Market 10-Year Anniversary

 On Sunday was the 10-year anniversary of a Lolita market!  It has been YEARS since I've gone.  Since I got rid of facebook, I miss out on a lot of events, but I was able to catch this one and I'm so happy I was able to attend again!

Valentine's Day Sakura Blossoms

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?  If so, I hope you had a lovely one!  If not, hope you had a great day all the same.  I spent the day with my mom! 💓

We went to Ikea for breakfast and then went to a park to see the cherry blossoms. It was quite bright and sunny 🌞 so I was rather hot, and it made taking photos difficult because I couldn't actually see my screen or keep my eyes open long!

New Year Street and Recent Look

Long time no blog again :3  I recently have been restricted to staying home due to budget 😿 and didn't know if it would be interesting to share about the bar I went to (didn't even get an outfit shot)

Anyway, today I have an outfit snap from a couple days ago and also went to a New Year Street (idk what to call it...) with my mom!

I don't know what this style is called really 😸 The skirt seems like Liz Lisa style (from ages ago) but it's not really gyaru since I don't do hair/makeup like that.  I just really like it for casual days 💖

Catfeine

Maybe I've just been lonely recently, but I went to another cat café over the weekend! This one was also quite nice!  It's called 貳巷貓弄 Catfeine near Banqiao station and has a pretty extensive food menu.

Have a Date with Cats

 After a bit of drinking for New Year (and a day of recovering as I was, and am, still sick) what better way to start the year off right than to visit a cat cafe?

It was my first time here at this location, 和貓咪有約, and they have got a LOT of cats and the majority of them are openly jumping onto your tables and chairs!

Kokorolia + First Foot Massage!

Recently I got a foot massage for the first time!  I twinned with my teddy bear in this lovely BABY dress~ It's a rather light and airy material, but the layers I wore (and cotton socks) kept me warm enough in the winter!
