 On Saturday I went to HuaShan (華山) Cultural Park with my lolita friends to see the Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card pop-up shop (as well as like five other free exhibits)

Fun with Friends Pt. 10 - The Final Part!

I got one day of gremlin mode on Saturday to rest, and then had a full full day on Sunday with my friend Pikawu!

We met up around 8:45 for breakfast at my favorite breakfast shop! They've got a branch right outside the MRT station now, though there's no tables there so we sat on some benches outside a shop that's not open yet.

I don't know why my face is looking so awkward here.  I don't know how to smile naturally 🙀 

 

 
I tried to texture my hair with braids overnight. It didn't last long, so you can only see it in this photo haha!  I've also been doing braids from the sides and adding ribbon clips to the back (the white one in this photo) to try and make my hair look a bit more interesting from more angles.

Food, Hospital, and New Year!

 Happy New Year 2026!  How did the last day of 2025 and first day of 2026 go for you?  It was certainly a roller coaster for me!

On the 31st I got dressed and went out for eggs Benedict with a friend.  We last-minute decided to get eggs benny the night before because I was streaming Monster Hunter Wilds and the current festival, Lumenhymn, has a limited-time meal which is eggs Benedict!  The animation for it looks SO good so a CRAVING was unlocked!

Twinning Day Out

 Twinning in Lolita fashion is so fun!  And I was able to twin with Violet yesterday because I bought her a matching dress!

Twitch Meetups in Taipei!

 This past week two Singaporean friends from Twitch came to Taipei (separately, though they know each other!) and we were able to meet up!

 

Halloween Lolita Meetup!

This past Saturday we had our October Halloween lolita tea party!!!  I tried something different with the eye makeup, but didn't bother with a full face. 

 

 

I was considering adding facial glitter as well, but decided to go for a more subtle look.  I also didn't bother with a base at all.  Just eye makeup and lipstick and eyebrows this time!  I think I'm getting lazier and lazier with makeup all the time!! 

 

My First Brand Tea Party: Little Rose Planet ft. Cathy Cat

 It's been a busy several days for me, so I'm a bit behind on posts! Going out every day can really take a toll.

On Saturday I went to my first brand-hosted tea party by Taiwanese Lolita brand Little Rose Planet! I've known the owner Mei for so long I can't remember when we met any more 😹 One of the girls actually asked me that question at the tea party, which is why I started thinking about it, and realized I have no idea!  She's lovely and often collaborates with talented artist Zihlinghuang for prints!

I saw the Little Rose Planet instagram post about the tea party and signed up and paid right away!  There were no new product launches or products to buy at the tea party as most brand events have, but I wanted to support anyway!

The location also got changed as the original restaurant didn't want to reserve for such a large group 😾without a down payment. Luckily, the alternate restaurant chosen was one I'd had saved on my Google Maps for a while, so I'm really glad we went there!

They also had a special guest Cathy Cat from Japan (iirc, she said she's German, studied in UK, then moved to Japan) and it was lovely to meet and chat with her too!

Recent Looks and LOTS of Food!

I haven't taken many outfit snaps as I feel like they are rather repetitive O_Q  I haven't purchased any new Lolita dresses since 2018, and even swapping different blouses and accessories is starting to get repetitive!

Still, I enjoy wearing Lolita and going out with friends, so have some snaps of food, food-scented sheet masks, and other daily happenings!

A Black Cat Halloween

 MEOW! 🙀 It's almost Halloween!  I celebrated a day early by going to Kokorolia Maid Cafe again~ They had a week-long Halloween event where the maids dress up each day, so I decided to sort of dress up today, too!  Unfortunately, a typhoon is hitting tomorrow, so the weather is already a bit rainy.

I didn't actually have a costume, so I used makeup and face crystals that I bought after Halloween back in 2019 or so when I was in the US!  It took over an hour JUST for the crystals 🙀 and my press-on nails did not make it any easier!  I used a pair of tweezers to handle most of the gems, but some were a bit large and unwieldy.

October Lolita Meetup

 This past weekend we had our October Lolita meetup!  It was a crafting meetup instead of a Halloween one, so I didn't actually wear anything spooky.  To be honest, I will likely wear the same outfit for Halloween this year as I have in the years past as I haven't been able to buy any new clothing at all 😿

Can you believe I full-on forgot to draw eyeliner??? My mind was NOT in the game that day!

I went to Kokorolia maid cafe with my friends again!  The outfit was rather last-minute and I should have worn an underskirt >_<  My petticoat is showing in the photo 🙀

Cardcaptor Sakura Pop-up Shop

It's been 25 years of Cardcaptor Sakura!  I went to a little exhibit/pop-up shop with my friend yesterday.  We met up at 6:30 for the tiny little shop, as it was a work day and we couldn't meet earlier.

I also did my hair in a new style for the first time!

Hello! It's been a while since I posted as I haven't really done much interesting stuff!  So here's some recent updates from my life~

Kokorolia had a Magical Girl Week so of course I had to go, and I got Teddy into her Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay outfit as well!  I purchased a Polaroid snap with my favorite maid (all their outfits were so cute, I wish we could take photos!)

 On Sunday was the 10-year anniversary of a Lolita market!  It has been YEARS since I've gone.  Since I got rid of facebook, I miss out on a lot of events, but I was able to catch this one and I'm so happy I was able to attend again!

Kokorolia + First Foot Massage!

Recently I got a foot massage for the first time!  I twinned with my teddy bear in this lovely BABY dress~ It's a rather light and airy material, but the layers I wore (and cotton socks) kept me warm enough in the winter!

Magic School Event at Kokorolia

Guess who went back to Kokorolia maid cafe again!!  And this time they have a Magic School event going on!  I "enrolled" and drew the card for the Gaia house~  That's the Earth themed one, so my "report card" is all earth themed.  There was also a water house and a fire house.

It is a cute and fun event, but in order to graduate and earn a prize, you need to clear many quests (called "taking credits") that will not be feasible for me in the time limit.  It can certainly get pricey to go too frequently!

However, this time I did get the Magic Set Meal because my friend treated me!!  So let's see what it contains.

A Maid Cafe with Decent Food?

 I don't believe I've written about the maid café I recently started going to.  It's called Kokorolia 心物語  and I've gone three times now!

The maids are chatty and will make you feel welcomed, so I really appreciate that!  The previous two times I went, I only ordered dessert, but this time I ordered a proper meal set.
