Originally she planned eight dishes as there's only two of us, then yesterday it expanded to ten dishes, and by the time we were done cooking, there were twelve 😹

Valentine's Night Out

 For Valentine's Day (night) I went out to some WLW bars with a couple friends!  During the day I did a bit of free talk practice in Japanese with a friend who is also learning Japanese while I did my makeup.  I really like how the eyeliner turned out!  It's got a little heart at the front.  It's inspired by deerestdiary.makeup in Instagram.  I love her pictorials!  

My "eyeliner" is actually red eyeshadow with Ben Nye mixing medium.  It turned out well and didn't crack this time! I just need to figure out how to not get hard pan in my palette because I dipped the mixing medium directly into my eyeshadow... I likely need to figure out how to scrape it into a mixing palette first.

It was not too cold, but cool enough that I could wear the new jacket my mom bought for me!

I also wore a new bodysuit I got.  It looks fine in photos, but up close I feel like it's a bit cheap-looking.  The design is really nice, though! I should have taken a turnaround video for instagram as the back has a design as well.

Halloween Lolita Meetup!

This past Saturday we had our October Halloween lolita tea party!!!  I tried something different with the eye makeup, but didn't bother with a full face. 

 

 

I was considering adding facial glitter as well, but decided to go for a more subtle look.  I also didn't bother with a base at all.  Just eye makeup and lipstick and eyebrows this time!  I think I'm getting lazier and lazier with makeup all the time!! 

 

Valentine's Day 2025

 Happy Valentine's Day (or Internet Friend Day)!  Here's to celebrating self-love, friends, family, and significant others if you have them!

I'm single so I spent the day watching Burn Notice with friends in discord, and then attending a board game night with IRL friends!  I brought salted dark chocolate truffles to share 😻and one of the other members brought canelés and a little cheesecake to share!  They were so delicious~

Happy Year of the Rabbit!

 Happy Lunar New Year!  We have 10 days off for Chinese New Year this year, and I already don't know what to do with myself ^^;

I had a lovely New Year Eve dinner with my mom, phone conversation with my aunt and cousin, and then we had a family friend over for the first day of the new year and had hotpot!

We cooked for about 3+ hours for this meal:

And despite having all that food, we made MORE for our guest!

It is now officially the Year of the Rabbit!  May the new year bring prosperity and fortune to you~  Be kind to yourself and others, and do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't negatively affect others!

That's all for now. I haven't really been doing anything interesting recently~  I may meet up with a friend over the break though, so I'm hopeful for that!

Christmas Tea Party
