This is the follow-up post to the previous one about the convention!

On Monday I went to a triple-convention (games, comics, toys) and happened upon some local idol group performances! Originally we just headed over to some stage because it was loud (as in, the idol otaku were insanely loud! Cheering with all their energy) and we were curious.
While watching a bit of whatever group was performing, Exo looked up the schedule on his phone and pointed out that the idol group of my favorite maid Lena from Kokorolia Maid Cafe would be performing later! I decided I'd come back to catch her performance despite having zero interest in idol groups 😹
Our group went for lunch nearby and then parted ways. I was the only one to go back to the convention (which I shall post about separately) but I got lost trying to find the stage area again!
Being a bit late, I was not able to get close to the stage. The space was very small and there were not many people, but I was still far back enough that all my videos are just of the back of people's heads 😿
I also don't know if the video upload works on this site well... so good luck to me and you
April 6 was the third wave of merch for the Sushiro x Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card collaboration, so I went with my friend Doro to a different decorated branch!
I've fallen behind on blogs again! On March 28 there was the first day of a Pokemon GO event at a local park, 大安森林公園/Daan Forest Park, so I went there with a couple acquaintances.
More Cardcaptor Sakura stuff! There is a collaboration between Clear Card and Sushiro, so we went on opening day (March 23)

On Saturday I went to HuaShan (華山) Cultural Park with my lolita friends to see the Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card pop-up shop (as well as like five other free exhibits)

On the 31st I got up bright and early to meet my teammate Exo for the Monster Hunter Wilds Taiwan Championship! I'll be honest - the organizers were not very well-organized and we received information bit by bit rather than all at once. We didn't even know we had to check-in between 8-10AM until a few days before the event.
In addition, they doxxed our emails to the whole email list by using CC instead of BCC when sending out the initial notification. This also led to multiple people responding to the incorrect person when confirming their participation.
I did call the organizers to express displeasure at the doxxing, and they sent an email claiming there'd been a "problem with BCC" which sounds like a lie to me, to be honest. If the email system was down, they would not have been able to send the email in the first place. If regular emailing was available but BCC was not, they should have sent each email individually rather than doxxing everybody's emails (and legal names, if they had their real name on their profile. Fortunately I used my creator email so mine only said "Sparklewolfie")
Despite that fiasco, the day of the event went pretty smoothly. We checked it around 9:30 and got a pass to go to 5F to queue for our group number.

On Sunday I went to a weekend pop-up market event that focused on Tabletop Role-Playing Games and Live-Action Role-Playing. Though I have never done LARPing before, one of the local lolitas I follow on Instagram goes regularly and it looks interesting!
Plus, my friend's brand Little Rose Planet was going to be vending there so I went to check it out~

On Saturday I went to the Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary exhibition with some Twitch friends!!
It was cool! We had tickets for 2pm and got in line then. They let us in in small batches at the beginning to avoid crowding, I assume. It's been a busy several days for me, so I'm a bit behind on posts! Going out every day can really take a toll.
On Saturday I went to my first brand-hosted tea party by Taiwanese Lolita brand Little Rose Planet! I've known the owner Mei for so long I can't remember when we met any more 😹 One of the girls actually asked me that question at the tea party, which is why I started thinking about it, and realized I have no idea! She's lovely and often collaborates with talented artist Zihlinghuang for prints!
I saw the Little Rose Planet instagram post about the tea party and signed up and paid right away! There were no new product launches or products to buy at the tea party as most brand events have, but I wanted to support anyway!
The location also got changed as the original restaurant didn't want to reserve for such a large group 😾without a down payment. Luckily, the alternate restaurant chosen was one I'd had saved on my Google Maps for a while, so I'm really glad we went there!
They also had a special guest Cathy Cat from Japan (iirc, she said she's German, studied in UK, then moved to Japan) and it was lovely to meet and chat with her too!
Yesterday I went to the Taipei Game Show!! whirow from Singapore came to TW for the event so we met up~ I also got to meet itsneyrin for the first time in person!
Hiro and I arrived first and we tried to catch the Monster Hunter Wilds livestream on stage, but the location was so large we got lost and made it to the stage right after the stream ended 😿
We did pass a Monster Hunter partbreak challenge mini booth, but when we met up with everybody else and went back to try, it had already ended!! So ended up with no Monster Hunter chance as the Wilds beta demos were already booked fully.
We did see two Monster Hunter cosplayers though!
Yesterday I went to a dual-exhibition with my friend Doro! The comic exhibition was combine with the gamers exhibition, meaning it was extremely PACKED at the world trade center!
Doro and I decided on a red Alice theme for our outfits, so here I am in my BABY x Disney Alice in Wonderland JSK~
Isn't the mascot cute?I asked Doro about this exhibit rather last minute. I found out about it on its first day opening, Thursday, and we went on Sunday. I was going solely for the chance to buy Cardcaptor Sakura goods!
Finally Part 2 of the Cardcaptor Sakura Exhibit could open!!! Find the first opening in two parts here and here for more photos of the interiors from the first visit. The main part that changed was the art prints, which cannot be photographed. I did also make a new wig for my teddy bear so I got new photos of her as well!
After the pandemic breakout and lockdown, we were unsure if the exhibit would even re-open. They were offering refunds for tickets, but it would require you to turn in the ticket holder and Thank You card if you had it. That did not seem worth it to Doro or me, so we chose to hold onto our gifts and just hope the exhibit would open again!! Luckily, it did, so I booked a time slot quickly! There were very few people there and masks are required as usual.
Are you ready for another photo-heavy post about Cardcaptor Sakura exhibit?
Last post ended on the Siege room, which was probably my favorite! The room after was Maze and was full of art reproductions of the original illustrations that CLAMP did, but we were not allowed to do any sort of photography, videography, or recording in there.
After the Maze came the Record room! They had some of the manga as well as some magazines with the magazine gifts displayed. I forgot to take a photo of that part, unfortunately, but I think it will still be there for the second exhibit so I will do my best to remember to take photos then!
Cardcaptor Sakura has collaborated with animate cafe again! This time with the most recent Clear Card arc! Previously I went to the Cardcaptor Sakura cafe collab back in 2016, but this year the drinks were more interesting because you can get pictures printed on them!
