Fun with Friends Pt. 3

 On Sunday we went to Ximending and of course that means MAID CAFE!!!

I had a bit of a bigger breakfast so I only got a sundae and cappuccino at the maid cafe this time.  It's a slice of cake with some ice cream! The two scoops are decorated like little bear maids~

Of course we had our visiting friend get the Magic Set so he had to do the "moe moe kyuun" ritual!  My local friend's wife was also visiting for the first time, so she got Magic Set too 😹

Then we walked and shopped all around Ximending until it was dinnertime!  We went to Sushiro for the Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration.  

For the first time, I saw tragedy on the conveyor belt!  I'm not sure what started it, but one plate "jumped" while traveling down the "ordered" conveyor belt (higher level one that goes faster) and tipped a bit.  Then after that, spoons kept getting hit by things and falling off, so people were receiving their dishes without spoons, spoons were on the conveyor belt, staff was collecting the fallen spoons and replacing our spoons, but it JUST KEPT HAPPENING 🙀

In all my years of conveyor belt sushi, including this branch specifically, I've never seen a single mistake happen!  This night was just special 😹

We ate enough that we could all buy a set of Monster Hunter Wilds plates!  Per $500 spent, you can add-on a set for $250.  They're a good size!  Not too big, not too small.  I've been using the Arkveld one for steaming buns~

Do you have a favorite monster from Wilds?  Mine is Lala Barina, the ballet spider!  It's pretty and its armors and weapons are beautiful too!
