Random Cooking Stuff

Been doing some experiments in the kitchen recently!

Also went to the hospital with my mom a couple more times for more blood transfusions and some medical appointments so had a casual but nice outfit on~

First up is a weird okonomiyaki made with instant noodles that I saw on Instagram.  I didn't measure anything but it still turned out ok!  I used indomie, which is a smaller packet of noodles compared to most other instant noodles.

The "recipe" is actually quite simple.  Around 5Tbsp of flour, an egg, 100g chopped/shredded cabbage, one packet of crushed instant noodles PLUS its seasoning, and some water to make it a dough/paste.  Then just pan fry as usual, flip, and top with teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise.

I will try it again!  I have an entire half head of cabbage now, after all 😹

My other experiment was veg*n ravioli, except I used dumpling skins because it's easier to get here!  My filling is vegan because I didn't have ricotta cheese and used firm tofu instead.  But I made a (failed) cheese sauce for the topping sauce, so it's just vegetarian overall.

The ravioli itself tasted OK I think, so I can try it again with red sauce from the shop next time.

Hope the year has been starting out all right for you all!  Thanks for reading~

      Do give it a try!!
I did the okonomiyaki again with a mala instant noodles packet and it was delicious~ It does make probably 2-3 servings, but I ate it in one go and got way too full 😹

Yes! But instead of yakisoba it's thinner instant noodles!
I think it's pretty easy to make and really quite filling from all the carbs and starch. Probably not the healthiest but it's a nice treat
