My mom and I stayed in Shanghai for a night before a transfer flight. Her cousins and aunts live there in a bit more countryside area I think? Or at least not super in the heart of this city as they have a house instead of at apartment and have land for garden. I don't know what the relationship titles are for each relative 🙀
Anyway, my mom's older cousin picked us up from our hotel and we visited their house and my grandfather's old house, which has collapsed. There were quite a few cats and dogs!
There's this shy and curious dog who would follow us a bit but hide if we turned around. Also didn't stray too far from its home. I wish I could have pet it! Seems so sweet.
We had a big family dinner at a restaurant! I don't remember who anybody is, how they are related to me, or what their names are except the niece (??) I added on WeChat. She likes jirai-kei~
It was a lot of food!!
They also prepared a cake?? 😹😹
It layered too many flavors so everything mixed together for me.
If I recall, there's taro, Oreo, pudding, fruit of some kind???? In a crepe cake 🎂
It was nice, even if I don't remember anybody 😹
