Pokemon GO at Daan Forest Park

 I've fallen behind on blogs again!  On March 28 there was the first day of a Pokemon GO event at a local park, 大安森林公園/Daan Forest Park, so I went there with a couple acquaintances.

There was also a coffee event, a picnic event, and I think another event happening at the same time, so it was immensely crowded!  That did mean it was easy to do group battles though.

There were some freebies but the Pikachu/Eevee paper hats ran out at the time slot we were in, and we didn't stay long enough for the next time slot to get any.

There was also a "What's Your Favorite?" thing you could do in Pokemon Go but it didn't work on my phone 😿 You could be entered to win a Taipei-exclusive Pikachu plush!

There was also a Pokemon Pokopia demo booth, but the queue was too long.  I also don't have a Switch 2 so I can't get the game anyway!

It seemed about to rain towards the end, but luckily we didn't get rained on!  Overall, I'm happy I got to do some Dynamax and group battles (got Dynamax Pikachus!) so it was worth braving the crowds!

Do you still play Pokemon GO?  I only play when I'm already out and not much to do nowadays. I used to be so enthusiastic about it!
