A Black Cat Halloween

 MEOW! 🙀 It's almost Halloween!  I celebrated a day early by going to Kokorolia Maid Cafe again~ They had a week-long Halloween event where the maids dress up each day, so I decided to sort of dress up today, too!  Unfortunately, a typhoon is hitting tomorrow, so the weather is already a bit rainy.

I didn't actually have a costume, so I used makeup and face crystals that I bought after Halloween back in 2019 or so when I was in the US!  It took over an hour JUST for the crystals 🙀 and my press-on nails did not make it any easier!  I used a pair of tweezers to handle most of the gems, but some were a bit large and unwieldy.

I was a touch late meeting my friends at the cafe!  They had a special Halloween pumpkin soup set, but it contained chicken so I couldn't order it!!  Instead, I got the veggie pasta and a photo.

Teddy got a costume too~  It's the Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay from before, but I hadn't gotten a maid photo with this one yet, so today was a good day for her to wear it!  Also the acrylic wand I received with my Cardcaptor Sakura order was handy to have.

I've got so many photos now I need to hang them up!  I finally hung up the Halloween garland(?) I bought.  Now I just need to buy some miniature clothespins to put my photos up on the garland.

While my "costume" isn't particularly creative, it was fun and I'm glad it was different from the previous two years at least!  I was previously just wearing Gothic Lolita and monster ears haha!  Not even a real costume.

What are you going to be for Halloween?  Are you doing anything to celebrate?  While it would be fun to attend a party or something, a chill lunch at a maid café is also nice.
