Small Shopping and Small Scare

When my mom was in the hospital I spent too much time browsing shopping sites and ended up buying a little treat for myself of lashes and press-on nails. They have arrived!

Two types of "bunches" lashes
I've been meaning to get this style of lash for a while now, and finally did it!  I can't wait to see how they look on~ Hopefully they suit me all right.

I also got a new style of nail shape I've never had before (natural or press-on): long, pointed nails.

The handcuffs actually seem a bit rusted... disappointed

Hopefully I'll be able to function properly with such nails on!  Otherwise, I'll just wear them for photos and try to remove after 1 or 2 days instead of 5+ haha!

I also got some more practical and cute nails.

Sakura nails and girly nails

I think these nails can go with many different outfits!  The construction seems ok overall so hopefully I don't lose the gems/pearls/decorations quickly... I'd like to be able to wear them several times!

Now for the little update.  This morning my mom called me and said we had to go to ER due to her temperature, which had been borderline fever since Saturday.  Luckily, she was able to get just a white blood cell booster shot and some observation and we came home in the afternoon.  Overall, only spent around 6 hours in the ER this time.

Hoping the antibiotics and white blood cell shot helps my mom's immune system!!! πŸ™

Thank you for reading!  Hope you are all keeping well.

Welcome in and thanks for your comment!
Press-ons definitely feel different from natural nails! Takes a bit to get used to. Plus, my natural nail bed is a bit oddly shaped so it's easy for water to get between the natural and false nails and loosen the sticker 😿

Thank you for you positive wishes! She's done two chemotherapy infusions and got four more to go, so we're doing our best!!

Thank you! I hope so too~
I use gel glue tabs! They seem to be what is used by every shop I've purchased from. They are surprisingly sticky if you don't let them get wet and prep the nail properly. Due to my odd nail beds, a few nails simply cannot adhere as well because water can get underneath more easily, but overall I really like the glue tabs!
Appreciate your positive thoughts and energy!
