Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Pop-up Shop

On Saturday I went to HuaShan (華山) Cultural Park with my lolita friends to see the Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card pop-up shop (as well as like five other free exhibits)

Kero-chan is actually Doro's

Of course, I had to dress up Violet in her Clear Card cosplay!

I did some colorful makeup to go with my outfit~  Mint may have worked better than the light blue in retrospect.

The photos uploaded in some whatever order so I'll just talk about each photo in the order they uploaded.

I saw these earrings online so was already planning to get them (NT$499 for the pair) as they are cute and a little bit cyber-inspired to me!  The material and hologram backings make them seem cyber-kawaii.

The ring is actually from a blind box! There were eight designs, and all are gorgeous! I got Kero-chan, and the head spins!  At NT$500/box I couldn't buy more than one, but I really did want to get two or three...

The ring box is in the shape of a book!  It matches Violet's cosplay and fits in her doll bag!

The pop-up shop was very small, but they stuffed a few photo op spots in and also a collector-card machine and a photo sheet machine.

You could become a card yourself in this photo op spot! Unfortunately the plastic is very reflective.

Difficult to photograph!
The queue was also a bit long to get in, but not too bad.  Maybe around 30 minutes.  The shop is so small we were only in for about ten minutes.
KC, rings: BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT
JSK: Angelic Pretty
Bag: Swimmer Japan
Shoes: Sheep Puff

Luckily everybody was quite considerate of each other's photo time, and the staff controlled how many people could enter at one time so it didn't get crowded inside.

There was a Kero-chan mascot, but we missed the meet-and-greet.  We saw it briefly while queuing but the time slot was over by the time we made it inside.

We spent the whole afternoon visiting other exhibitions afterwards, so I may make a post with some photos/video from those later!

I also made a reel for Instagram.  It's tricky figuring out how to make nice reels, but I actually have been enjoying having these just for myself to look back on!
