Birthday Outfit

May 30th was my birthday and I went out for a meal with my mom!  I chose an outfit that made me feel pretty and was comfortable.

The blouse has a collar with Alice-themed embroidery on it.  Normally I wear some casual chiffon cropped blouse with no collar, but I do really love the look of a proper Peter Pan collar!

The dress is also a longer length, which I really like. It's still just knee-length on me because I am around 169cm.  The chiffon ruffles are low-maintenance and move nicely!

For my hair, I did flipped twin tails that I then braided.  The flipped portion is perfect for maintaining some volume on the head and also a place to set the ribbon combs!  After fluffing up the braids a little bit, I added brown lace scrunchies on the ends.

My makeup is also slightly more glamorous than usual with some jewels stuck on.  I messed up my eyeliner to be honest, but I hope it's not too noticeable!

The buffet was very spaced out and of course masks and gloves are required.  It was lovely and I had some cakes from the dessert area (unfortunately, the staff member manning that station was not very friendly or polite, so I did not go back to try more desserts.)

I think the sweets I did get matched my look as well!  Cherry-pistachio cake, rum chocolate, and chocolate vanilla cream cake!

 Overall it was a lovely time and the waitstaff was nice.  Teddy was wearing her dress that matches mine, but I did not manage to get a photo!! The photos I do have of her, the outfit is fully covered!

Thanks for another year together on blogging.  I hope we have more fun this year!
