September Summer Fruits Lolita Meetup

 Saturday was our monthly meetup!

The theme was a mix of different fruits!  There were some interesting combinations in the savory portion.

I split with NiYa again so I gave her my duck and ham and she gave me her crab and shrimp.

The sweets were really lovely too!  And the scones maintained the improvement from last time.

The only one I didn't enjoy too much was the red cake as it had red wine infused flavor or something... and I'm not a fan of that flavor! It was still ok, just not especially delicious to me

It's also been a while since I did a more old school coordinate.  I didn't wear a KC, just ribbons in my hair this time.  I think it looks more casual, though the smaller ribbons on the braids dress it up a bit.  For a daily look, I'd just do the two larger white ribbons on top.

 

I also added some pearls to my makeup!  The pink eyeshadow isn't so visible in this photo unfortunately 

The hairstyle I referenced should have some more volume, but I'm really not good at creating volume in my hair so this is what it ended up looking like.

Summer is ending!  What was your favorite part of summer?  My favorite part is having aircon 😹 jk jk I got to go out a lot this summer and meet up with friends!
