June Peach Meetup

 On Saturday we had our meetup of the month!  We went to our usual place for their afternoon tea, which was peach theme this time!

 

Violet now also has a Maison de Fleur ita bag! 

I think my makeup is getting a little bit heavier and more colorful, even in lolita now 😹

I guess this photo with this lighting isn't as obvious.  It's yellow and pink eyeshadow!

Recently it's been so hot I thought I'd wear something cooler, like a onepiece, so I don't need to layer.  Instead, I wore this outfit that I also wear an underskirt with, and instead of just safety shorts I wore my full bloomers (mine have a layer of frills on the cotton base) so it was four layers on my bottoms 🙀

But I do like my coordinate!

 The savory dishes were really good!  The scallops somehow matched with the thin slices of peach, and the spring roll was so refreshing.  The salmon roll and tart had ricotta cheese and peaches!  I didn't eat the chicken (swapped with NiYa as she doesn't eat seafood) so I can't say how that was.

 The sweets were also wonderful.  Two of the cakes were peach mixed with different tea flavors, which worked out really well.  The scones were a bit dry in my opinion, and I ate mine first, which was too filling!  Luckily, we could sit for a long time so I just ate very slowly.

 We didn't go for dinner this time as two of the members had other things to do, and one was sick.  It was still a lovely and relaxing afternoon with friends!

 What do you like to pair peaches with?  Normally I would think to eat them straight, but now I'm thinking tea is a great pairing... as was the scallop dish!
