Kayz0rbeam in Taipei! Day 3

Continuing on our week-long adventure!  On Wednesday we went to popular area Ximending.  We went to kokorolia and I got a Polaroid with my favorite maid Lena and kayz0rbeam!

She did her best to speak English and it was cute!

 

When Lena found out we'd been friends since 2008/2009, she was so touched~  Time really flies and I'm glad to have such a great friend! 

I wasn't hungry enough for a magic set, so just got the fish burger as usual and paired it with an Americano.

We also took some photos outside.  The rain was on-again-off-again, but luckily it didn't rain too heavily!

 

There was a Doraemon display for some reason?  It's the anywhere door, but the image shown is.... right where the door is displayed, so it doesn't seem to actually serve a purpose if it were real 😹

We also visited Pop Mart as we both have friends/family who are looking for Labubu, but there was no stock.  We did find a cool art exhibit though! The theme seemed to be "invisible spirits in our world" or something like that.

 

The sculptures were pretty cool and cute!

The aesthetic reminds me a bit of Yokai Watch yokai.

 

We also went shopping at WanNian building, which has a lot of figures, plushies, fashion, accessories, etc.

We also did some photobooth photos!  A subway theme one and a fish tank one with real fish inside! 

I forgot to scan the QR code for the digital images, so here's photos I took of the photos 😹 

 

 Then we got a foot massage before heading to a late night hotpot restaurant for dinner!

At the shopping building, we did some ichiban kuji at a shop that had some decent prizes. Didn't get any top prizes, but I still really like everything we did get!

The Clow Card has a picture of Sakura on the back!  We were allowed to choose which of each item we wanted. I really wanted Clear Card Flight, but they were out!!!  So I went from Clow Card The Thunder instead. 

Before dinner, we also spent over an hour at Watson's testing cosmetics.  I ended up buying a new black eyeliner and a red liquid lipstick.  It's actually a bit orange for my tastes, but close enough I guess?

It was a long and fun day!  We got home quite late 😹It was a great time!
