I've been wearing makeup more recently and decided to do a little photo dump! I usually find tutorials on Instagram or YouTube and try to recreate them with the palettes and products I have.
I often poke myself in the eye while doing makeup though, so my eyes look red in some of the pictures!
I skipped base makeup on this day
Since I was doing these makeups for fun for the most part, I didn't bother with mascara as it's difficult to remove and in a photo the lashes can carry 😹
As you can probably tell, I like colorful makeup!! It's a bit difficult for me to come up with new color placements often, so that's why I save a lot of tutorials and references online.
Recently I'm using my Oden's Eye Spring Dragon Palette a lot, which has pastels. Sometimes I also use BH Cosmetics Trendy in Tokyo palette for more saturated colorful makep.
What is your makeup color style? I love both pastels and bold colors, and usually with a touch of shimmer!
Ooh these are all so pretty! You have such nice skin even without base makeup! I’ve been wearing all matte or satin shades recently, because I’m afraid of irritating my eyes again LOL. I tend to like frosty glittery colors like silver and blue. Dior has a palette I want for my birthday though that leans a little more shimmery but not heavily so, so if I get that I’ll be excited to try it

DeleteThank you!! I think I'm lucky that my skin has been pretty clear for most of my life. Only had some acne problems for about a year to a year and a half before, and that was annoying! Nowadays it's just the redness (I think I have rosacea) that looks blotchy
Ooh silver is nice! I usually only wear silver with gothic looks myself, but I love the frosty eyeshadow looks I see gyaru do. Hope you can get a palette that works for your eyes~~

I prefer not to wear bone makeup but sometimes the blotchy redness in my skin throws off a look, or if I'm wearing sunscreen (which I should do more often) I'll definitely do base makeup
