Lace and Ribbon Hair Bows Tutorial

Small hair ribbons are easy to make and dress up any hair style easily.  They can also be pinned or clipped onto boleros, handbags, wrist stoppers, etc.

Today I will show a quick and eay way to make some lace and ribbon hair bows, which can be made completely by hand if you don't have any sewing machine!  You also only need very few materials ^u^v

Materials:
*Ribbon
*Edge lace trim
*Needle
*Thread

Love Chocolate Meetup

Every year, Sweet Lolita brands put one one (or several...) chocolate prints.  Chocolate often shows up in other sweets prints as well, either as toppings, dips, etc.
So with this month's meetup theme of "chocolate," you would think that it would be quite easy!
Well, I flipped through every dress and skirt in my closet only to find... I'm the worst Sweet Lolita ever!  I have NO chocolate!

So that means I had to draw for next month's theme -_-;;  But the meetup was still great fun!  Of course everybody else had a plethora of chocolate prints to choose from ^_^v

In the end, I wore my new BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT 2016 lucky pack dress and KC
None of my photos really turned out well today though!  Oops...

Lolita Fashion X Weapons (??)

On Feb. 27 we had a Lolita meetup with a theme from me... weapons!  I didn't really think it through very well when I submitted my idea to be honest -_-; but it was a fun challenge.  Surprisingly, most of the Lolitas were able to find swords in dress prints, but 柔柔 actually brought a cosplay sword that coordinated with her outfit quite well!  And NiYa brought a toy gun and grenade from her brother's toy collection <_<;;

The lighting was yellow and space was far too cramped so we did not get good photos indoors.  By the time we made it outside, it was already dark so this time there are not many good photos, sorry!
NiYa and her weaponry

Winner!  Amazing look

Group photo!
I'm wearing BABY's Swan Lake skirt, which has images of the prince holding a sword, so that was my weapon print :P  It's only about 2cm tall, but I'm the one setting the rules so there!
Kamiko actually would have been the one to not pass because she wore a Peter Rabbit print and claimed the farming tools the mice held were weapons.  Logic being that the pig 豬八戒 from Journey to the West (西遊記) uses a rake as a weapon (九釘耙)
This guy
He wasn't exactly very useful throughout their journey though, to be honest...

Quite the Start to the New Year

I was originally going to post in the first few days of Chinese New Year but it's been quite a negative start to the year so I'll skip over all that childish drama

Just look at our food

Yoki Watch X Taiwan McDonald

Completely unrelated to fashion, but I'm super excited that Taiwan McDonald also got a collaboration with the cute and popular cartoon, Yokai Watch!  I first saw that Japanese McDonald had collaborated and created "storage containers" which, let's be honest, are FRENCH FRY HOLDERS.

I bought one.
I plan to buy more.
石獅子/小石獅

Also, one branch of McDonald completely redecorated to be Yokai Watch themed!

The show is basically about a grade school student who was given a watch by a demon named Wyss (I'm not 100% sure of the English names) that allows him to see and communicate with demons in our world.  He solves problems the demons cause and befriend them, earning him a medallion he can later use with the watch to summon the demons to aid him.

Do you watch Yokai Watch? If so, who's your favorite character?  I love Jibanyan (the red cat demon) the most!  Though all the featured characters here are my top favorite characters.

Hopefully I can visit here while it lasts!
