Christmas Eve and Day 2025!

Merry Christmas!!!  I had a fun couple of days for the holidays this year!

 

 

 Though there are multiple Christmas setups throughout the city (at least three), I am too old and tired for the crowds so I didn't visit any of them.  Instead, on Christmas Eve I went to Kokorolia Maid Cafe with my friends!  They had a Christmas special meal upgrade, which we all got.  I also got a photo with maid, and my friend sponsor me another photo!!!  Thank you for Christmas present, Exo!

 

I got my usual fish burger with the Christmas meal set.  The special drink was actually quite delicious!  I thought it'd be just fizzy drink, but it tasted more complex than a simple soda.

I did my nails that night, but I am sad that I forgot to do them before leaving in the morning!!!

The Christmas set meal came with mushroom soup.  I always get a lot of black pepper because I love it.  The maids are already used to it at this point I think 😹

The set also came with strawberry sauce ice cream!  I love mini marshmallows haha.  A bit crisp, a bit soft!

Afterwards, we went to the Bugcat Capoo shop!!! I didn't know it was so close!!  If you don't know Bugcat Capoo, it's a cute and funny character created by a Taiwanese artist from Taichung (central Taiwan) and has comics, short animations, and character goods!

HECK YES YOU ARE SUPER CUTE 

After going home (and doing my nails) I met up late at night with my childhood friend who is in Taipei for a month or so!  I sought out this bar 叁外/San Wai specifically for an alcohol I tried at the alcohol exhibition!  I can't find where to buy it; only bars that now serve it.

It's called 茗/Ming and they do distilled alcohol with Taiwanese tea.  As a lover of tea fragrance in alcohol, I have to say this one has a truly lovely fragrance!  It made an impression on me at the exhibit, but I didn't realize it'd be so difficult to obtain!

This bar is (I think) based on 金門/Kinmen alcohol/culture?  So they feature quite a few 高粱/kaoliang-based drinks as Kinmen produces kaoliang.  They had tieguanyin-infused kaoliang cocktail based on theater, which is what I ordered! It had layered flavors (a bit nutty, a bit tea) and had a tiny side of three popcorn kernels 😹 Tasty!

It has been 20-25C most of winter so far, but it started raining Christmas Eve night, so the temperature started dropping.  On Christmas Day, it was actually chilly!  Which means.... I CAN WEAR MY FLUFFY FURRY JACKET!!!!

 

This dress is SO short I had to wear my black skirt under it for decency!

The jacket pairs so well with the Amavel bag I got as a novelty!  It's a little heart-shaped bag that just fits my wallet, phone, a lip balm, and bus pass.  So Violet gets to sit in her doll bag, which I filled with tiny presents for the season~

 

I went to a little party that a friend threw!  They rented a place and we had hotpot and chilled.  I got to see some people I knew, meet some new people, and overall it was pretty decent!
