Maid Cafe and Ximen Underground Mall

 Yesterday was rather warm considering it's December!  23C 🙀

I wore my blue BTSSB blouse out!  With a cardigan it was actually quite warm.

At the maid cafe, the magic school event and 7th year anniversary is on its last week!  We had to be sorted into new houses (I was previously in the Earth house, Gaia) and I really wanted the Water house, Aqua, but was sorted into the Fire house, Pomes(?)

 

The method to get "credits" for your school graduation includes things like ordering a meal with a radical from your house element, but there are no seafood options with a fire radical!!!  Water would have been so much easier.  Plus, I was wearing blue.  I'll wear red when I go on Saturday for a credit, but there's no chance to graduate as it takes at least four visits (2 credits per visit)

 

My friends all ordered the event special meals, but they all contain meat so I got my regular fish burger! Since the ichiban kuji was already gone, each special meal comes with two postcards instead!  Exo gave me his 😹

I got a polaroid with Lena, but I forgot to get a school credit for it!!  My brain is not working well 😿 I'll see if I can get a makeup stamp on Saturday if I show this photo... 

 

 

On our way back to the MRT, we went down the Ximen Underground Mall which has recently been renovated.  It's still a work in progress, but there are a couple new shops that look good!  We went to one gacha shop so I could look for gacha for my little sister (didn't find any) and it was nice! The prices were closer to Japanese prices (NT$100-$150 instead of $200-$250) and the collections seemed new.  They were similar to collections I saw in Tokyo!

 

Also they had little shelves of scenes set up so you could put your gacha characters in for photos!  Of course I put Taiwan Teddy in for a photo too. 

I was surprised to see that Swimmer has gacha!  I think Swimmer no longer has physical shops, but will show up at pop-ups.  I do follow them on instagram, but am not sure how they are staying in business?

Violet is a bit big for the scenes, but it's still fun!

I'm excited to see how the Ximen Underground Mall looks when it's finished!  The notice said it'd have ACG and K-pop stuff, and there was a shop of Vtuber things (not Vtubers I'm familiar with as I don't follow Vtubers with big companies) so I hope it becomes another interesting place to visit!
