Dim Sum and Park with Mom and Friends

 We had a gathering with some family friends from the USA!  It's been decades of friendship and some of them actually saw me growing up, so it was nice to see the aunties and uncles again~

We went for a dim sum buffet.  There wasn't a terribly huge variety of dishes to choose from in my opinion, plus I was limited even further because of so many meat dishes, but the food I did have was pretty good!  I really enjoyed the ice cream flavors as well, though none were labeled 😹

 

 

Afterwards, we went to a nearby park.  The flowers were not finished being planted, so it was not fully open and the open parts were largely just greenery, but it was still nice!

The weather was sunny and not too cold.  I rarely touch grass, but have done it twice this week already!  😹

My mom was able to eat a lot a lot at the buffet!!  She still gets out of breath easily due to the fluid buildup in her lung, so we walked slowly.

At the park, we walked around and took photos with what flowers there were.  My mom had to take a break and sit down, so I only took a few photos and then went to stay with her.

I imagine it must look nice once all the colorful flowers are planted!

One of the uncles also took a few photos of my mother and me!

I tried a slightly different coordinate with this dress today as I've coordinated it with both black and white already.  I don't think I got any photos with the pink cardigan on, though!

I was trying to add a pink contrast to the outfit, but without the cardigan it's not very balanced/obvious I think?  Also the pink items I have are very pastel, but the pink in the print is more saturated, so I'm not sure it works at all.  I do have a short-sleeved pink blouse, so may try that next time. I also want some sax blue and some red KC to coordinate with more outfits! Should have bought them in Tokyo, but was not thinking very clearly while shopping.

Are there any flower gardens near where you live?  This one is actually rather far away from where we live 😹 So it's unlikely I'll come here often at all
