Went to Hooters today with some friends. Unfortunately, I hadn't slept the night before so was wholly unprepared to manage the level of anxiety I felt in such a chaotic, loud, and oppressive environment.

Though the environment at Hooters was overwhelming for me and the staff who took my order was rather rude and impatient, the food itself was all right.

Veggie Burger with Fried Mushrooms

My curly fries arrived late
Was feeling pretty low afterwards to be honest. Then I went to the bank to take care of some errands, and went to a cafe with my friends.
I originally found this place 公園咖啡館/Le Park Cafe on Instagram I believe, and the apple pie was recommended. It's actually not a pie at all, so if that's what you're expecting, you'll be disappointed! But if you're open to trying an apple pastry with flaky layers of dough, finely sliced apple, a hint of cinnamon, and a huge scoop of ice cream, you'll be delighted!
There is a slight discount if you get any of the sweets along with the drinks. So I got an Americano for $130 and the "pie" was $210
I hadn't slept well the night before so was sort of a zombie while out. The experience at Hooters certainly didn't help my mood! But the cafe was nice and I was then able to go home and chill and relax.
I saw a funny Instagram reel about Hooters being the "American Maid Cafe" experience 😹😹😹 which I guess it sort of is!
Honestly, I will likely never go back. It's nice if you like sports bar/restaurant and noisy energetic atmosphere I guess, but it's definitely not for me!
